F. Charles Dayter possesses extensive experience acting as litigation and trial counsel to businesses and individuals in complex, high-profile cases involving fraud, unfair and deceptive business practices, employment discrimination, defamation, antitrust, contracts and restrictive covenants, eminent domain and personal injury. In addition, Mr. Dayter has briefed and argued motions and appeals resulting in several significant published opinions.
Mr. Dayter counsels corporate officers, directors, in-house counsel and expert witnesses in a spectrum of legal areas, and represents major corporations in investigations conducted by the New York State Attorney General.
Mr. Dayter is also experienced in project development, and represents and advises oil and gas, and gas storage clients in connection with a range of legislative, regulatory and commercial matters, such as permitting, leasing, well spacing, compulsory integration, eminent domain and consumer complaints. Mr. Dayter also counsels, lectures and writes about climate control (including carbon sequestration), eminent domain, subsurface ownership and oil and gas law.
