Business Disputes and Business Divorces

We represent clients in business disputes and “divorces.” These disputes often result in owners withdrawing from entities, withdrawing owners organizing competing businesses, and entity dissolution.

Business divorces raise myriad legal issues, including whether restrictive covenants preclude departing owners from soliciting employees and customers or entering into competing businesses; valuing businesses and compensating departing owners for their business interests; dividing business assets and liabilities; and redressing breaches of fiduciary duties.

We have successfully represented clients in negotiating, mediating, arbitrating and litigating business disputes and divorces, and we focus on resolving such disputes quickly to minimize expense, uncertainty and business interruption.
